The running order of this colossal double a-side - lifted from El-P's bar raising I'll Sleep When You're Dead is all back to front. The Overly Dramatic Truth could easily soundtrack that revelatory movie moment where some profound fact has fallen into place and everything turns to shit as a direct result. Smithereens, on the other hand, is the intro music to some surreal 70s cop show: stepping out of his X-Wing, Ron Burgundy kicks the door down, guns blaze and suddenly the Enterprise's red alert siren starts wailing. Now we're going down and none of this is funny.
