High expectations met great intrigue as two legends from the early house scene did battle in the flamboyant Death Disco arena. Billie Ray Martin, singer with late eighties band Electribe 101, played alongside the S'Express main man and now much respected DJ Mark Moore. Death Disco is reknowned for having an eclectic music policy and this night was no different with Moore and Martin sharing the DJ duties for the evening, and Billie Ray covering all musical bases from indie to electro. Moore certainly didn't disappoint and lifted the tempo with crowd pleasing classics such as Groove is In The Heart; which kept the crowd in high spirits all night. [Sean McNamara]
