Bona Fide Friday, Studio 24

Keep your eyes peeled for the next date, which is sure to continue to provide yet more unmissable reggae vibes and dancehall beats

The opening night of Daddy Scotty's Bona Fide Friday went down a storm, despite the non-appearance of 'special' guest Finley Quaye, who evidently couldn't drag himself out for the night (despite not being in a position to turn down gigs!). The rest of the live band (including Chris Dawkins, Buttons and Colin Steele) performed a cracking set to the packed Studios, with the whole crowd grooving to the beats, loving every minute. The highlight of the evening was legendary Daddy Scotty joining his daughter Natalie Hendry onstage to rock the mic in their own unique style. Going by the audience's reaction to this debut performance, there should be a return of Project Bona Fide to the capital very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for the next date, which is sure to provide yet more unmissable reggae vibes and dancehall beats.
