Beverley Knight - After You

After You is the new single taken from Beverley Knight's fifth studio album, Music City Soul. You get pretty much what you expect with Beverley Knight; classic rnb, a sweet soul voice with gospel sensibilities, and given that her new album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, her gospel roots are really pushed to the limit on this release. The single has an almost organic, live sound to it which is very fitting considering its origin. A pleasant enough sound, but hardly revolutionary - Beverley is just enjoying what she does.
