Three rooms, over 25 DJs, and over seven hours of music to party to

Fancy partying to some of the best house in Edinburgh with 1799 other people? Unlock the House's massive success last year has prompted a move to the larger capacity shopping mall located on Leith's shore – a bizarre and unique venue that unites empty space with a club format. There's three rooms, over 25 DJs, and more than seven hours of music to party to, but don't forget that tickets are limited, and we mean limited. Buy early, as it will be the only way to guarantee yourself entry (and there's nothing more annoying than putting off buying it till the next week, only to discover it sold out hours earlier). Or you could take a chance and actually end up playing at the event! Unlock The House are offering a guest place on the line-up for one lucky would-be DJ: details are limited, but keep checking their website for info on the competition as it arises.

Although 'house' will be the operative word for the evening, there will also be beats from a different drum extending to funk, soul and hot electro sounds. You'll be spoiled for choice at this party as each room battles it out to steal your attention! Representing Progression is Alan Dobson and Derek Martin, who will be joining the Trouble DJs, Ricky Palys and Ryan Turner of Beatroot, and the bods of Stereotype, Ultragroove, Solescience and Tokyoblu. There's even more from Luvely, Afterdark, XFM, Area51, The Villager, Sumo, Beluga, Soitis, Spaceface, Love for the Music and MockaRocka, completed by the competition winner and live percussion and sax.
