The Cuban Brothers, Snatch Social, Liquid Room, Aug 24 (FOR SKINNYFEST 2)

You're in for a Hi de Hi time

They're baaaack! The masters of cheese, moustaches and a large variety of polyester clothes will be returning to the Snatch Social for some more bizarre action. What started as a novelty act quickly progressed to TV presenting, music production, and packed-out gigs: the Cuban Brothers; Miguel Mantovani, Archerio Mantovani and Clemente, have travelled the world to start the party in all the major international destinations. From Rome to Havana to London to New York, now they return to our shores to live it up at another top destination; Edinburgh. Their work with MTV is well-known, and now they are heading into new territory with their own TV show, for which they have just recorded the pilot, and a full-length album. Their first single 'A Million Stories' will be out early next year, and was produced with the aid of Tim Deluxe. It's been described as a 'soundscape of silky vocals, laid over funky bad boy beats and a melodic instrumental'. Snatch is a holiday-camp themed club which, in retrospect, seems to have been purposefully designed for acts like The Cuban Brothers. From the Minder theme tune to Kylie to classic 80s electro, the full schemata of instant party-starters gets a run through courtesy of Snatch's own DJ Babes and Karaoke King Calverto. With the addition of compere entertainment from the Perrier award-winning Mr Harry Ainsworth and Tony Carter to guide you through the evening, and the chance to win some prizes through your musical statue skills, you're in for a Hi de Hi time.
