Scottish Clubbing Highlights: September 2026

Savour the final 5am finish of the summer with Ride n Bounce x Gay Garage on Monday 31 August – R’n’B, garage and booty-shaking edits all night long at Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh. Over at Glasgow’s Stereo, Cortisa Star headlines Scandal.gla’s funfair-themed return (4 Sep). After seven long weeks, Edinburgh’s The Bongo Club reopens with Overground – expect techno, jungle and a packed dancefloor (4 Sep). Glasgow’s EXIT turns three, marking the occasion with a stacked weekend of sets from Hiro Kone, Saeko Killy and Erotechre (4 Sep & 5 Sep).

On Saturday 5 September, VANISH Festival arrives at Jupiter Artland with a host of local talent including Big Miz, Eclair Fifi and LWS B2B Smiff – explore the sculpture park grounds or get lost in the music. Femmergy host sex worker pride at The Biscuit Factory, Edinburgh – all proceeds go towards Scotland for Decrim (10 Sep). More FLINTA-led clubbing comes to The Berkeley Suite, Glasgow, as FemmeDM host Fliss Mayo until 4am (11 Sep). German duo FJAAK are set to pack the Sub Club basement, with Glasgow’s own Slam and Nightwave joining the lineup – expect dub techno, breakbeats and high-energy selections (11 Sep). At Glasgow’s Stereo, SOUND celebrate 20 years of dubstep with James Hometown, DJ Greenman and MC Onyx Stone joining the party (11 Sep). At Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh, Neffa-T returns to Palindone – expect mind-blowing mixes spanning grime, dubstep and footwork (11 Sep).  

Fresher’s week kicks off by Temperate Sounds at Edinburgh’s Cabaret Voltaire with a 90s-inspired rave – enjoy jungle, house and the no phones policy (14 Sep). For the fashion-forward, the Glasgow Charity Fashion Show joins forces with the Glasgow Electronic Music Society at The Berkeley Suite – proceeds go to charity (15 Sep). At The Bongo Club, Edinburgh, EPiKA launch the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show – expect techno and electro all for a good cause (16 Sep). RARE welcomes DJ Seinfeld to Glasgow’s Sub Club – expect house, 2-step and emotive electronic tunes (17 Sep). 

Charlie P arrives at DUB CLUB, The Art School, Glasgow, to deliver his iconic vocals over the Hometown Sound System (17 Sep). Skalah makes her Glasgow debut alongside G33 and Loose E for a night of grime, bass and UK garage at The Berkeley Suite, Glasgow (17 Sep). Dundee Electronic Music Society take over Church Dundee to kickstart the semester, Boiler Room-style (18 Sep). Irish DJ, producer and label head Or:la arrives at La Cheetah Club on Saturday 19 September – bringing her leftfield, drum-heavy selections along for the ride.
