Scottish Clubbing Highlights: July 2026

Midwestern techno icon DVS1 kicks off July’s proceedings, hypnotising The Bongo Club dancefloor all night long on Friday 3 July, for Pulse, Edinburgh. Three of the capital’s top promoters team up to bring Juicy Romance to Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh – expect flirty floor fillers and sultry pop vocals (3 Jul). On Saturday 4 July, Doof in the Park returns to Dundee with homegrown talent Hannah Laing bringing Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Maddix for a day of trance and techno at Camperdown Park. Ponyboy Pride returns to Stereo, Glasgow, on Friday 10 July – watch this space for a theme reveal. Over at The Berkeley Suite, Glasgow, Polka Dot Disco Club hosts a night of house and bounce until 4am (10 Jul). Kylie Wears Berghaus makes an Edinburgh debut at Sneaky Pete’s on Saturday 11 July – prepare yourself for nonstop Kylie edits. 

Caribou plays out in the open at The Galvanizers Yard, Glasgow, on Friday 17 July – doors open at 6pm, don’t forget a jacket. The FUSE birthday celebrations just keep coming, this time with dubstep heavyweights Youngsta and J:Kenzo going back-to-back at Stereo, Glasgow (17 Jul). The Rum Shack, Glasgow, is set for a night of movers and groovers with Charlie Bones; doors open at 8pm (18 Jul). Yu Su comes to Edinburgh's Sneaky Pete’s for a night of leftfield tunes spanning jazz, ambient and pop – not one to miss (18 Jul). Back to The Galvanizers Yard on Saturday 18 July, this time for STREETrave Summer All Dayer – Soul II Soul top the bill. Hometown Sound System bring their rig to the Isle of Arran for the sixth year running – a unique opportunity to listen to weighty selections in an idyllic setting (24-25 Jul). 

A triple whammy of parties are scheduled for the August Bank Holiday. The Sub Club Southside Weekender returns to the Queen’s Park Arena, Glasgow, with Chaos in the CBD, Bradley Zero and Floorplan taking to the bandstand (1-2 Aug). At The Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow Techno Alliance come together for a night of all things four-on-the-floor – acts include Slam, Gary Beck and Posthuman (1 Aug), while acrosstheboard and Synthetic come together at Ayr Pavilion, staging Céleste and Dominique. alongside local Ayrshire talent.
