On Fri 3 Jan, hotter and messier than ever, Simontron is back with Queer Dance Party at Sneaky Pete’s. On Saturday, Harri & Domenic continue to keep the weekend alive, marking over 30 years of Subculture at Glasgow’s Sub Club. Otherwise, flex your sauce for the G1 BDAY EXCLUSIVE with afrobeat and amapiano connoisseur DJ JOLA at 142b Lounge (4 Jan).
On Friday 10th, Return to Mono house homegrown techno talent – Niamh Jobson, Kairogen, KAAI, ona:v, Brandon Lee Vear – at Glasgow’s Sub Club. UK techno heads, check out La Cheetah for Flipside with Dyslecta and slyn. On Wednesday 15th, Manchester legend Jon K joins Edinburgh's Daksh at Sneaky Pete’s for membrane - expect a mixed bag of off-kilter grooves (15 Jan). The following day, Club Signal waves sneaky Pete’s goodbye, as they celebrate one final throwdown in the Cowgate at the unknown - untitled 4th birthday (16 Jan). On Friday, common room debuts in Glasgow, inviting Warp Records Wu-Lu (DJ set) to The Flying Duck (17 Jan). On Saturday, Glasgow’s Crucial Roots Soundsystem set up their rig at EXIT for an evening full of deep and heavy dub (18 Jan). Raising funds for Attitude is Everything, Stereo hosts Spinnin' on the Spectrum on Sat 25 Jan.
