This Thursday-night banger brings together Edinburgh favourite Theo Kottis and North Yorkshire-born wAFF, aka John Wafer. A Hot Creations family member, wAFF specialises in beefed-up, good-time techno, and his lively sets are gaining him a strong following, as his spot at number 65 in Resident Advisor's Top DJs of 2016 shows (£5+bf).

Cooking with Palms Trax Pt.2 with Antal @ La Cheetah Club, Fri 26 May
Berlin-based producer and DJ Palms Trax (real name Jay Donaldson) is back at La Cheetah this weekend for the second in a four-part series of shows that Donaldson will be curating. Lionoil: Soichi Terada, JG Wilkes (Optimo) & David Barbarossa @ The Bongo Club, Fri 26 May
It’s a line-up that speaks for itself, really. Take 90s Japanese house pioneer Soichi Terada, Optimo's JG Wilkes and Glaswegian disco king David Barbarossa, and what do you have? One hell of a Friday night party, that’s what (£10+bf).

Lezure 023: Special Request (XL Recordings) @ The Mash House, Fri 26 May
On the back of last month's acclaimed EP Stairfoot Lane Bunker, Special Request (aka Paul Woolford) makes a stop in the capital this Friday night. The Leeds-born Woolford also put his name to an excellent fabriclive 91 compilation back in March, so a night of his signature jungle, ambient and electro grooves is definitely not to be missed (£10+bf).

Mindset: George FitzGerald – Hiding Places Tour @ Sneaky Pete's, Mon 29 May
Sneaky Pete's continue their run of excellent Monday-night parties, this week bringing in English DJ/producer and Berlin-based selector George FitzGerald. Start your week right with some lush, bass-heavy, sample-embellished house music (£10+bf).
