Numbers 5th Birthday @ Sub Club, Glasgow, 4 Jul

Situated in the basement of a curry house, it's the perfect venue for the residents’ spicy, grimey fusion of bass-banging techno and booty-bumping hip-hop

Numbers has established itself as the most insane, original and exciting night in Glasgow, with guests ranging from Ed Banger’s Uffie and Feadz to glitch-hop maestros Modeselektor and avant-garde experimentalists Autechre. To celebrate its fifth birthday, they’re treating us to not one but two parties. The first stars Glasgow’s biggest rising talent, Rustie, whose gritty future-crunk, coupled with free entry for all girls, is sure to make it a celebration to remember. Expect retro RnB, Chicago house and a free goodie bag for the first 100 to arrive. Then it's off to Paisley on 12 Jul, where the Numbers crew hit Club 69, which they say inspired them to start it all. Buses will run from MacSorley’s to the venue which, situated in the basement of a curry house, is the perfect venue for the residents’ spicy, grimey fusion of bass-banging techno and booty-bumping hip-hop.
