The legendary Notting Hill DJ Norman Jay (Good Times) is in town to brighten up the weather and your souls! Having embarked on turntablism at the age of 8, Jay has gone from playing birthday parties to packing out London for the annual Notting Hill Carnival. He has worked with the biggest names in DJ history, including David Morales, Gilles Peterson and Judge Jules. The latter worked with Jay to hold the first warehouse parties to be staged in London before Jay was hunted by Polygram to launch a new label with Gilles Peterson (Talkin Loud). These days Jay tours the globe entertaining stars and celebs, from Michael Caine to Vivienne Westwood, and he even found the time to be the first DJ to play the Cannes Film Festival. His tastes in music encapsulate the sounds of several decades, outrageously flirting with soul, disco, house and funk to name a few. Expect a jam-packed night of superb beats and rump-shakin' action with support from Mark Robb. Good Times!
