The Cologne-based, German duo Christopher Bleckmann and Hannes Wenner, have notched up over a decade of production experience. While Bleckmann benefits from a classical musical education, Wenner counts on his own, self-taught experience.

With output that includes energetic, dance-floor firing moments as well as more subtle, emotional sequences, they’ve crafted their own individual take on the minimal techno template.

Recording for Berlin’s Sender Records, the pair have had a dozen singles and two albums released by the label and boast a tension-filled live show that oscillates between tougher, dramatic moments and more relaxed interlude. An engaging prospect for the intimate confines of Paisley’s Club 69, where they’ll join Sleaze residents, Hans Bouffmyre and Jean Ramesse. [Colin Chapman]
