With his re-worked release of Womack & Womack’s Baby I’m Scared of You, Black Country boy Mark E created quite a stir among the modern-day disco fraternity. Further singles on Running Back and his own Jisco! label followed, with everyone from Gilles Peterson to Moodymann going nuts for his trademark extended and dubbed out takes on classic disco. Mark’s progressed from playing regularly at Birmingham’s Jigsaw parties to guest spots across Europe and on Beats In Space, Soulsearching and RBMA internet radio shows, playing everything from Balearic to disco, Detroit beatdown to deep house.
