Itch! 2nd Birthday Party

This month marks Glasgow based genre hopping party smasher Itch!’s second anniversary and, with unadulterated celebratory musings in mind, the eclectic collective have concocted a line up guaranteed to relieve any potentially dry party concerns faster than an oversized tub of techno Sudocrem. 

Against the stylised settings of Chambre 69 a full scale bonanza is in the making as two of the UK’s brightest new talents line up to go back to back. Richie Ahmed and Russ Yallop are significant proprietors of the new sound of house brought about by a recently emerged generation of British DJs that include Maya Jane Coles and Subb-an and both will be spread evenly across Crosstown Rebels and Hot Creation who are champions of a sound that incorporates shavings of disco, techno and hip-hop into primarily house focused grooves. The two are closely connected through shared labels and parties whilst possessing a unique take on what is essentially a reinvention of house music making for an intriguing and hugely exciting prospect.
