For tech-house, electro, 80s obscura, and destinations outwith and inbetween, check the Swayzak Soundsystem in Glasgow at Freq, accompanied by healthy doses of glitch and minimal from Villalobos' pal Lopazz live (Sub Club, 2nd, £10). Or choose earth-shattering breaks and bass from Mekon and Bass Junkie at Inner City Acid (Art School, 2nd, £12). Prolific remixers Radioslave will no doubt fill the room with loud electro goodness at Edit-Undo (Liquid Lounge, 23rd, £9), whilst crossing the house divides and then rejoining them with soul will be Kenny Hawkes at Subculture (Sub Club, 17th).

In Edinburgh, The Venue's clubs continue to finish their residencies, one-by-one. The Tokyoblu residents and live band join Michigan DJs for a three-floor house and techno effort (2nd, £8), while hardtek specialists React have their 'wig party' on the 3rd (wigs not provided). However it's Pure that mischievously steals the spotlight for one "last ever" gig (The Venue, 9th, £14), but then they do bring gifts of the awesome Speedy J live, Phil Hartnoll, and residents Twitch & Brainstorm. Chris Lake, off the back of his massive track Changes, guests for a DJ set at Progression (Liquid Room, 17th, £10), and to round off the month Adam Freeland wants your soul when he joins the Utahs for Sugarbeat (Cabaret Voltaire, 30th, £7).
