Filthy Gorgeous, Maggie Mays, Glasgow, 23 Sept

This September we see the summer (what is that again?) holding on and the heat turned up at Filthy Gorgeous. The clubnight has brought new tough house mixed with the more credible Ibiza classics to a large packed crowd time after time. With a 5am license and a commitment to making an effort on the interior, this is a stress-free party with an emphasis on fun. This month sees Filthy Gorgeous headlined by organiser and resident Jamie Gittens, a purveyor of a unique brand of dirty electro-house and now a regular across other established house nights. He is also joined by the superb 2mankyDJs, the popular Glasgow DJ who bear musical and titular similarities to their heroes 2manyDJs. The line-up is completed by the impressive Lisa Littlewood and the enthusiastic Colin Sales as well as a plethora of blow-up dolls and other party paraphenalia. [Sean McNamara]
