Birthday celebrations and a special reunion are on the cards this week in our pick of the capital's best club nights

It's been three years since FourByFour began its musical journey and in that time the night has featured countless local acts such as The Oxyjen Junkies, Pulse, Creatures of Habit, Ariose and Prescribed, as well as bigger names including Bart Skils, Phil Kieran, Hermanez and Mark Reeve. This time, the birthday party will be fuelled by Animal Hospital, and entry is only a fiver all night long.

This September marks a decade since the last ever Progression, which was first launched in Edinburgh in 2000, and wound up with the legendary 'last ever progression party' at The Liquid Room in September 2006 with Steve Angello at the helm.
The original resident cast of Alan Dobson, Derek Martin and Gav Grant will be dusting down the vinyl to provide the soundscape this historic reunion deserves, digging deep to take you all on a trip down memory lane. Headlining the reunion will be ultimate Progression guest, and Dig Deeper label head honcho, Mr Danny Howells.
