Lost In Bass, and their ghettotech and bass music style, will be hitting the Glasgow scene with a bang; and a kicking line-up for their launch night. They will be taking over the Big Joint for a special presentation of DJ Guy - one half of the Non Stop DJs, and touted as 'Europe's leading booty turntablist' - who will be mixing up an eclectic collection for the crowd. The Non Stop DJs gained widespread success in 2004 with their first 12", the Furious EP, which garnered support from fellow leaders in the ghettotech scene such as DJ Godfather, and kicked into the number one spot in Dave Clarke's electro chart. The group continue to work on numerous projects, while DJ Guy offers up a blend of Detroit-influenced mixes and scratches, drawing together Baltimore breaks, hip hop, electro, Miami bass, techno and through to ghetto house, seamlessly flowing for a dancefloor frenzy. Complimenting these tunes will be the Sleepless crew, known for their 12" releases on Subplate and Dalriada, such as the Spell House EP, putting forward their electro punk rock creations. The Crew create a lo-fi, 'home bru' electro sound combining new wave, proto-pop and acid house like no others. Support for the night will come courtesy of Wasp (Monox), and resident Willie Heenan.
