Known in the underground and global scene alike

Article by Gemma Couper | 15 Jun 2006
Edinburgh's Progression underlines its forte for providing house fans with innovative and original talents in the genre this month by inviting Scottish success story Chris Lake to town. Lake is known in the underground and global scene alike as one of the hottest talents around with his aptitude for producing not only high quality productions but also original and groundbreaking beats. His remix of Kris Menace's Discopolis (now signed to Defected) was one of the hottest tracks of the last year, and his anthem-in-the-making Changes is set for major release this summer. House music and dance music fans take notice. Catch Chris Lake at Progression before he hits the major club gig circuit to get a sample of these tracks first. Support comes from Derek Martin and Alan Dobson in the main room and funky room 2 will host Gary Bowman and Stuart Johnston who are providing a more experimental tone to the proceedings.
