Potency is one of Glasgow's newest additions to the clubbing calendar

Article by Struan Otter | 12 Nov 2006
Potency is one of Glasgow's newest additions to the clubbing calendar, and they're back on the 24th for a resident showcase and spotlight on amenCHOP (Dropzone Records/Red Alert/Radio Magnetic). Jungle has endured a bad press over the years, and the all-night raving, screaming, hammer-wielding priest in Father Ted painted a comical, if inaccurate, representation of jungle's fans. For the real deal check out amenCHOP's live Ableton set, and the ragga jungle stylings yearning to be unleashed. Expect some very listenable noise and an all-out attack on the ear drums! Residents Revere and YellowBenzene will be warming up the decks with some choice d&b/breaks/nasty beats, and loosening the limbs for the impending jungle madness. [Struan Otter]
