With over 20 years in the game, Phil Bolland aka Sync 24 is something of a veteran of the UK electro scene. His Cultivated Electronics imprint is responsible for some of the genre's most crucial output and has been at the forefront of the recent electro resurgence. Here Bolland shares his favourite tracks and EPs from the past twelve months.

No Moon – Infinite Dreamz EP
[Craigie Knowes, 2018]
"Really well-produced electro from newcomer No Moon. The nice blend of rough beats and dreamy synths make Mallet Fury my top choice from the EP."

Jensen Interceptor & Assembler Code – Hyper Reality EP
[Cultivated Electronics, 2018]
"Smoking hot dancefloor electro from the boys from down under on my CE label. All tracks work well but 5050 has been really rocking the clubs. Solid beats and tight subs; just how we like it."

Mor Elian – Fairplex Drive EP
[Radio Matrix, 2018]
"Absolutely love this EP from Mor on Delta Funktionen's RAM label. All four tracks are wicked but the standout for me is Gamma Gulch – super-trippy early-hour vibes."

Maelstrom – Eczo EP
[Cultivated Electronics, 2018]
"New fire upcoming on CE from French electro veteran Maelstrom. Solid dancefloor-aimed electro workouts."

M-Twelve – Time Spent
[Electrix, 2018]
"Excellent electro from Nick Dunton and Billy Nasty on the long-standing Electrix Records. All tracks rock but Time Spent is a standout."

Sync 24 x Alienata – Confused
[Killekill, 2018]
"Super-trippy dancefloor electro from myself and Alienata on the excellent Kilekill Megahits III compilation [celebrating 10 years of the Berlin label]."

Sync 24, Palidrone x Hilltown Disco, The Mash House, Friday 6 July, 10pm-3am, £5-7
