Rabiya Choudhry

Rabiya Choudhry is a painter who is Glasgow-born but Edinburgh-based. She creates works that are iconographically complex, deceptively simple images that draw together word and image, influences from art history, music and pop culture to explore ideas of love, loss and cultural identity. Rabiya graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006 and has since exhibited widely nationally and internationally, most recently at Polad-Hardouin and Artpartament, Paris.
