About Common Ground

"About Common Ground is an experiment in continuous photographic investigation of states and movements in a world bridged by information and trade while strongly divided by national borders. Attentive to political tension, collective consciousness and the influence of advanced capitalism I try to encompass some of what seems ungraspable, fascinating and scary.

"The work consists of a large visual material curated and presented differently for each exhibition and publication of it. Urbanity is key to the work – the photographic pictures examining the beauty, ambiguity and absurdities of the urban space as centre for capital and revolutionary politics."
