Mint Lounge

Home to some of Manchester's most-loved club nights, The Mint Lounge is an alt-pop/techno-funk staple of city centre nightlife. Located towards the top end of Oldham Street, its late opening hours and range of drinks offers means that the bar is always bustling every weekend. There's a couple of regular nights on offer at the basement club, including Top Of The Pops — playing all eras of everyone's favourite pop tunes and plenty of forgotten gems — and Funkademia, officially Manchester's longest running club night, often selling out, with resident DJs spinning funk and soul every Saturday. There's also a back room available for hire, which is occasionally used for live music or smaller events. This smaller capacity room has previously seen the likes of Foals, Florence & The Machine, LCD Soundsystem and many more take to its stage before they well and truly took off.
