Red's True Barbecue

Once you’ve made your way past the unusual religious marketing speak of Red’s BBQ, you’ll find yourself in - drumroll, please - Meat Heaven. The menu boasts dead animals in pretty much any form you can dream of: there’s pulled pork, beef ribs, burgers, smoked chicken, combo plates, the list goes on and on - and we haven’t even got started on the sides or starters. After success in Leeds, the boys behind the BBQ opened the Manc version in February 2013, showing off their tried and tested formula: meat + more meat = happy customers. Perhaps not one for the veggies, though one could easily feast on their Hush Puppies alone. Expect a distressed and oh-so-hip interior, a rather drinkable cocktail list and - of course - craft beers a-plenty.
