Ladyfest MCR is a celebration of music, art and ideas paying homage to Manchester’s talented, creative and radical women past and present through music, politics, technology, and community.
As one of the highlights for this year's proceedings, the festival will be taking to Gullivers and The Castle for an evening of homegrown heroes from Manchester and the North, showcasing female musical and creative talent with Ladyfest Live.
On the bill you'll find two Manchester-based post-punk trios, LIINES and Mr Heart, musician and artists collective Poppycock, experimental duo Tangerine Cat and singer-songwriter Elena Cau, along with York indie-pop duo JUNK, Leeds' Jesus and His Judgemental Father, rock n roll femme fatales Thee Jezebels, South London's Cat Bear Tree, plus electronic punk all the way from Brooklyn with Honeychild Coleman, aka Sugafreebk.
