Queens Cafe

Queens Café on Victoria Road is one of the few 50s style ice-cream parlours left in Glasgow. Its art deco stylings and battered leather booths instantly take you back to another era, when the city was full of places like this. If the giant plastic ice-cream cone in the window doesn’t tempt you through the door, then the promise of ice-cream in tantalising flavours like salted caramel, bubblegum and Kinder Bueno might. Ginesi’s ice-cream is made fresh on the premises, and on any given day there’s a myriad of flavours available. Top it off with their homemade raspberry sauce and you’re in ice-cream heaven.
