A treasure trove of new and used CDs and records — Kingbee Records stocks a wide variety of genres, including classic rock, dance, hip-hop, punk, soul, folk, Americana and so much more. Located in trendy Chorlton, Kingbee is a bit of an institution — since opening in 1985 the shop hasn’t changed much, but it’s always been a haven for those cratediggers who love nothing more than spending hours flicking through racks and shelves stuffed with hidden gems and forgotten hits. The friendly staff really know their stuff, so you’ll always find some pretty impressive secondhand vinyl (and the odd newer release) at wallet-friendly prices here. As well as a seemingly endless stock of Northern Soul singles, they’ve also got a fair few pre-owned CDs and music-related books available too.
