Gilmorehill G12

Gilmorehill G12 is part of the Glasgow University complex in the West End. Originally a Free Church the B-listed building, it was used as an exam hall for decades before it was refurbished in 1997 to become the home of Glasgow University’s Film, Television and Theatre Department. The building houses a theatre, cinema, performance studio, resource room, editing suite and several conference rooms. The Andrew Stewart cinema is compact, sitting just 138, and is used for University lectures and occasional public film screenings. The James Arnott Theatre is used for student productions including the acclaimed student troupe STAG (Student Theatre at Glasgow), as well as professional theatre companies.
