Captain's Rest

Once an old man's-style pub, the nautically-themed Captain's Rest is a wonderfully dingy and intimate place that aesthetically tries not to stray too far from its roots. This makes it pretty damn perfect for memorable gigs, affordable drinks and decent menu of hot and cold homemade grub served till late, with prices starting from around £2.50. An important staple on the music scene in Glasgow, the Captain’s Rest is also regularly involved in the city’s irrepressible Stag & Dagger mini music festival and various other West End festivals.
