Located in an archway by the motorway in Glasgow's West End, SWG3 (aka the Studio Warehouse) houses artists' studios, a gallery, a gig venue and an occasional bar, which are in turn are used to showcase the work of new artists, as well as for launch parties, club night, mini-festivals and much more besides. The exhibitions are almost always innovative, engaging and worth a look, and a studio space there is swift becoming the holy grail of post-graduate locations. Indeed, since its opening grassroots galleries have mushroomed in the surrounding arches, making a stroll down Eastvale Place a must for the curious art aficionado.
