Women aren't funny...

Well, absolute BOLLOCKS to that. Though, frustratingly, we've been programmed to think that since birth – along with other eye-rollers like women not being able to drive, understand the off-side rule or run a company without those super-imposing wombs screwing everything up.

Stepping in to prove the haters wrong, the fourth Women in Comedy Festival returns 20-30 Oct for eleven days of positive-minded comedy, delving further than 'So, erm, what's it like to do stand-up when you're a... woman?' with the likes of Amy Gledhill, Bethany Black, Barbara Nice, Hayley Ellis, Harriet Dyer, Jen Brister, Kate McCabe, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Lauren Pattison, Rachel Fairburn, Sajeela Kershi, Stephanie Laing, Suzi Ruffell, Sophie Willan and many, many more.
