Music Video Premiere: C Duncan – Garden

Video | 04 Jun 2015

C Duncan premieres the video for his brand-new track Garden, taken from his forthcoming album Architect.

In the clip we are taken through a journey of scientific discovery, laced with psychadelic imagery and a colourful palette. Director Williams & Tardo envoked the spirit of H.G. Wells in the scientific tale: “We wanted to build on the feeling of a perfect bohemian afternoon conjured by the song, so we made Christopher the centre of a H.G. Wells style scientific romance.

"It's true that insects irradiate different intensities of light, so we sought out this old optical means of seeing the insects as they really are. With the correct light filtration, the bugs become bright pink and you go off your head for a few minutes. It's a really pure form of light that the human brain can't handle.”

Duncan, a multi-instrumentalist and son of a composer, recorded all of Architect alone in his home studio in Glasgow, layering instruments himself and even producing his own artwork for the release.

Architect is due for release on July 17th via Fatcat Records.
