Shanghai Club brings the energy of China's nightlife capital to Edinburgh. Part of Le Monde, one of the premier boutique hotels in Edinburgh, Shanghai is an intimate club in the heart of George Street which combines oriental style with cutting-edge technology to provide the perfect atmosphere for a great night out.

Although the club isn't huge there is an ingenius quiet room where they somehow manage to dub out the deafening beats long enough for you to catch your breath and get a drink from the bar.

Located in the basement its open every night from 9 - 3a.m with drinks promos and free entry to Le Monde hotel guests. Visitors to Shanghai will see why it was voted Scottish hotel Nightclub of the Year 2007 and awarded the Scottish Hotel Design Award in 2006.

Stay away from this place, rude staff including management. Did not give me correct change back and when complained to management I was ignored.
