It’s almost here. The revival of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s television landmark Twin Peaks arrives next month. Despite being only a few weeks away, we barely know anything about the third series. We’ve seen David Lynch eat a donut as FBI chief Gordon Cole, heard the show described as the “pure heroin” version of Lynch’s vision by Showtime president David Nevins, and we’ve even seen some stills from the set, but we’re no closer to guessing what Lynch and Frost have in store for us. Maybe some cryptic clues will help?

Three Twin Peaks video puzzles were released last night, but you’ll need the sleuthing skills of special agent Dale Cooper to make head or tail of them. Even when you do work out what they say, we’re not sure you’ll find much meaning. But on the plus side, you can at least luxuriate in Angelo Badalamenti’s haunting score while you work them out.

Brew up some damn good coffee, put your thinking cap on, and take a look at the puzzle videos below:

Twin Peaks' series premiere screens on Mon 22 May at 2am on Sky Atlantic, with a repeat at 9pm http://theskinny.co.uk/film
