Japanese psych-noise monsters Bo Ningen have been announced as the headliners of the first WRONG festival in Liverpool next year. Due to take place in the city's North Docklands area, the festival released the details of its first wave of acts in November.

Further additions have also been unveiled: joining Bo Ningen on the bill are Leeds post-pop trio Cowtown, Manchester grungeniks False Advertising and fearsome feminist noisemakers Skinny Girl Diet.

Liverpool noise stalwarts Bonnacons of Doom and Jazzhands will also appear, while Loner Noise (the record label behind WRONG) also present a number of acts form their own roster: SPQR, Gravves, Pocket Apocalypse and Duke Mercury.

Taking place between the three venues – the Invisible Wind Factory, North Shore Troubadour and Drop the Dumbulls – the festival also stars The Wytches, Heck, Part Chimp, The Cosmic DeadBlacklisters and fellow Loner Noise alumni Elevant, as previously announced on The Skinny.

WRONG takes place 22 Apr 2017
