Neu! Reekie! snapped up the City Award, awarded for "an outstanding creative contribution or activity that has promoted Edinburgh", while Judy R Clark won Creative Edinburgh's Independent Award.

Elsewhere, production company Something Something won two of the evening's nine awards, winning the Startup prize as well as the Commercial Award for their Wellpark animated video series for Tennents, while public art project Conversations for Change was awarded the Social Award for its series of exhibitions and events designed to promote conversation around mental health.

The Collaboration Award went to the High School Resilience Project, a photography project involving photography students from Edinburgh Napier University alongside students and staff at St David's RC High School, while Alasdair Thomson, Faith Liddell and Jack Lennie won the Creativity, Leader and Student awards respectively.

The Creative Edinburgh Awards, now in their fourth year, were held at Leith multi-arts space The Biscuit Factory, with this year's physical awards in the form of scarves designed by fashion designer and illustrator Karen Mabon.
