It's a simple equation: chicken plus fire equals good.  Spatch takes that formula and runs with it in its new location right in the middle of Edinburgh's city centre.  

With its custom built rotisserie taking pride of place in the centre of the diner, its clear that the emphasis here is on serving up good, old fashioned finger-lickin' chicken.  How, you ask?  Well spatchcocked, of course!

Many chook lovers will opt straight for the charcoal fired birds - halved or whole, you decide! - and there's a range of seasoning options to smother 'em in, so whether you fancy refreshing lemon and herbs, classic smoky BBQ or a fruity Caribbean number, the grill chefs will have you sorted faster than you can say Cluck Norris (also on the menu).

If eating off the bone's not your thing you might want to delve a little further into the menu, which features some tasty steak, salad and veggie burger options.  Or load yourself up on sides; with classic American-inspired accompaniments like sweet potato fries, mac 'n' cheese bites and corn on the cob up for grabs, the hardest part might be knowing where to start.  Where to finish, on the other hand, is simple - grab yourself a slice of that famous key lime pie and you'll be set for days.
