Pinto on Lothian Road provides the residents of Tollcross with a veritable Mexican feast. The shop first opened in Glasgow and since then Pinto has spread its wings across to Scotland’s capital. They are in the business of offering fresh, exciting, affordable and healthy Mexican street food consisting of all the classics. Burritos, quesadillas, nachos and tachos are all available, of course. There’s also a range of salads to choose from and now they do booze too. Burritos and quesadillas are filled with delicious things like pulled pork, shredded beef, grilled steak and there’s vegetarian options such as seared vegetables with black beans and cheese. Mmm. Pinto is a friendly establishment wanting to fill the bellies of the Tollcross workforce with all the wholesome Mexican goodness it needs. Pinto comes highly recommended by fellow Skinny readers and made it onto the list of The Skinny’s 2016 Food and Drink Survey winners.
