Premiere: We Came From Wolves – 'Paradise Place' (Official Video)

Video | 28 Feb 2014

Here's an exclusive premiere of the official video for Glasgow-based melodic rock quartet We Came From Wolves' new track, Paradise Place, from their forthcoming EP of the same name.

Speaking of the song, video and EP's inspiration, frontman Kyle Burgess remarks:

"Paradise Place is a collection of songs which paint a brutally honest picture of a small city with a lack of opportunities, a dying community and the scent of disdain flowing throughout it's streets that could rival those from the local harbour's morning haul. This could be any place... but this one is ours.

The EP was produced by Bruce Rintoul at 45-A-Side studios in the East end of Glasgow. We shot the video for the title track in the very places the song is inspired by and were blessed by the greyest and rainiest day of the year, it really helped set the scene. The filming was inspired by the work of Shane Meadows and the bleakness that his work depicts was the aesthetic goal and feeling for the project and our videographer Tom Mitchell. We wanted everything about it to be as honest as possible and mixed that with an ironic undertone which is very much to our taste. The result is a video which really reflects the vibe of the song helped by a host of locals and a couple of very talented young actors."

Filmed, edited & directed by Tom Mitchell

The Paradise Place EP is released on 3 March via Saraseto Records.
