With its delicious array of freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, Hula Juice Bar promises to bring a much-needed squeeze of summer to Edinburgh all year round. Add to that a range of organic boosters to fight off the most stubborn of hangovers – such as echinacea or wheatgrass – and you're onto a winner.

Additionally, if you are feeling peckish, Hula also offer a range of tasty bagels, salads and toasted wraps with locally-sourced ingredients. Breakfast favourites are porridge, fruit salads and croissants – complete with Artisan Roast coffee. And if you are less concerned with health than feeding the soul, then their cakes – served with berry coulis and frozen yoghurt – will do the job nicely.

Hula's also a bit of a hit with you, the great Skinny readship. Every year The Skinny holds a Food and Drink Survey, where we put out the feelers for the best bars, cafes and restaurants in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Hula made it into the top spots in a whole host of categories in 2014, including Best Place in a Rush, Best Cafe and Best Place for a First Date.
