Circle Café

If you attended this year's Edinburgh Book Festival and were unluckily deprived of sampling some joys of the in-house eaterie, get yourself down to Brandon Terrace, where the creators of the Festival menu have their own little sphere of culinary heaven all year round. Strictly a breakfast/brunch/late lunch joint, The Circle Café's mouth-watering, freshly prepared offerings include many meals which would stand excellently as dinner options, such as the rump steak beef skewers with bean sprout stir-fry, or the marinated chicken with avocado, fresh basil and melted mature cheddar cheese. Here's hoping they'll be back at the EBF in 2010.
