The Auld Hoose

Reassuringly rustic old-man-style pub which is, pleasingly, not code for suffocating and dingy. The Auld House offers hale and hearty pub grub (which can be scoffed at a 15% discount between 5-9.30pm on Mondays), free wi-fi and a staggering selection of ales and 24 malt whiskies (endorsed by CAMRA - Campaign for real ale) which is only outdone by the range of punk-alt-rock albums on its now rather legendary jukebox. Students are entitled to a 10% discount on food at all times and a quiz night is hosted every Tuesday from 8pm.
