Wee Red Bar, Edinburgh

The Wee Red Bar is a small bar/club with cheapish drink prices featuring the classic Red Strip and great music found in the grounds of Edinburgh College Of Art.

Regular fixtures include weekly Indie feature: The Egg, monthly Friday night Reggae jamborees from Big Toe's Hi-Fi and pumping Drum n Bass with Red Alert - Overchore and more.

This venue can pick up great music that the rest of Edinburgh seems to be in ignorance of, for example Dubstep, and therefore is a rare find in the city. However, sometimes it does have a slight feel of a college disco, due to its proximity to the Edinburgh College of Art and the majority of the crowd obviously over spilling from the nearby classrooms.
