A firm favourite with local bands and punters alike, Bannerman's is a laid-back pub tucked semi-underground on the Cowgate. Aside from the extensive and variety gig schedule, bonuses include cheap pool and good banter from a (broadly) rock and indie crowd. Though the mirrored toilets may well make you regret that last flaming sambuca.
