  • Glasgow Zine Fest 2023

Glasgow Zine Fest turns ten this year, and what better way to celebrate than dropping by this year’s magical edition. Running this weekend (8-9 July) at the CCA, their snazzy creative festival features the usual stunning zine fair where you can pick up all kinds of beautifully designed, radical DIY art objects, as well as a packed programme of events.

Pick anything from family-friendly figure drawing and BPoC-centred zine workshops to a bite-sized workshop on masculine drag and even an exclusive stand-up set from Josie Long. You can find the whole programme and get tickets for individual events here.

Exploring a lifetime through one person's daily interactions with money, and the transactions we engage in to build a life – from the Tooth Fairy to negotiating with the funeral director. Written and directed by Lescot - associate artist of renowned Théâtre de la Ville in Paris – who makes his Edinburgh Fringe debut.

Fabiola Santana: A Home for Grief

The Hug and Pint's 8th Birthday

Elinor O’Donovan: The Immeasurable Grief of a Prawn

EQ Dance: Sanctuary

This new dance-theatre production by EQ Dance Company revolves around ideas and interpretations of sanctuary: what it means to individually and collectively seek community, build refuge, and rebuild identity.

nektar: Slavic Queer Liberation
The Bongo Club, Edinburgh. 13 Jul, 11pm
An intersectional rave celebrating all things queer and equality, nektar is a showcase of rave and dance music by some of the best queer Eastern European producers and DJs out there. Proceeds from the night go to queer charities based in Eastern Europe.
