Every year, Hidden Door takes over an abandoned Edinburgh building for several days of music, visual arts and sneaking around creepy corridors and basements. This year, they’re setting up shop in the old Scottish Widows building (you know, the sinister looking one next to the Royal Commonwealth Pool): things kick off on Wednesday with a headline set by Brighton punk outfit Porridge Radio and an opening night party with Blue Giant Orkestar and Paradise Palms Records' Jacuzzi General and the Jets, with more music through the long weekend by Highlands art pop artist Josephine Sillars, Edinburgh artist Becky Sikasa and a closing night with Pillow Queens.

Elsewhere there is more late-night performance from the likes of Maranta and Free Love, visual art from Chell Young and Soorin Shin, and spoken word poetry from Andrés N Ordorica, Zaki El-Salahi, Bibi June, and even a market by Creative Edinburgh Makers Market. You can get a festival pass for the whole five days, or tickets for individual days here.
