Knockengorroch celebrates its 25th birthday this coming week with a new edition of its delightful music festival. Elsewhere, TS7 heads to SWG3 and Edinburgh Disco Lovers play their last night at Sneaky's

Set along the banks of the gorgeous Water of Deugh and at the foot of some of Scotland’s most beautiful hills, Knockengorroch is one of Scotland’s most charming outdoor festivals, bringing a love of nature and a real family vibe to the often hectic festival calendar.

Running this year from 25-28 May, Knockengorroch are celebrating their 25th birthday, with a lineup including drum ‘n’ bass supergroup Bad Company UK and party legends Los Chicanos. There's also an extra-special The Skinny takeover in the Taigh Tent on the Sunday night in collaboration with queer club night FUSE: find powerhouse DJs and FUSE co-founder VAJ. We absolutely love Edinburgh-based indie pop musician SHEARS (she even played at our 200th issue party in December!). Find her at Leith Depot this coming week - for big, glossy pop sounds in a cosy, intimate space. Support on the night comes from death-pop princess Tulle. Image: Trisha Ward.

For a gentle way to spend hump day (there must be a better way of phrasing this but too late), head to St Luke's to see Yorkshire folk singer Billie Marten. Having been making music since the age of 12, her fourth album dropped this year to great buzz.
