What's On Scotland 16-23 Mar: 6 Music Fringe

There's stellar music both sides of the M8 this week, whether you're getting on the fringes of 6 Music Festival or soaking up the sweet giggery in the capital. Plus, GSA Fashion Show, HippFest and Bridget Christie at GCF...

All great festivals have their fringes, and 6 Music Festival Glasgow is no exception. Don't be disheartened if you didn't snap up tickets for the main event – Glasgow's swimming in glorious alternative programming between 20-26 Mar.

Florida indie rockers Surfer Blood play Broadcast on 20 Mar with support from Dutch lo-fi sensation Pip Blom; Hug & Pint host lo-fi indie pals Codist and Fuzzkill act Shredd on 22 Mar; and Òran Mór throw on a guitar-rammed show ft. LUCIA (pictured), Man of Moon, American Clay and Catholic Action for the paltry sum of £4.

And that's the very tip of the frickin' iceberg. Download the full programme here and find your new faves.
